meditation retreat day

Sun 25 Feb 2024 10:00 - 4:00
The Wellness Barn, Marlow, SL7 3RD

Join us for a day of receiving, restoration and relaxation as we explore the transition between Winter and Spring.

This retreat will rejuvenate everyone of all experience levels - so even if you have never tried meditation before, we would love to welcome you to discover how beneficial this practice can be. As we step out of the daily stress and fight-or-flight mode, our physical bodies feel more relaxed and we nurture our emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing.

What will happen on the day?

10.00am - arrival, welcome tea & introduction

10.15am - 2 morning meditation sessions including gentle movement, and connection to breath (Pranayama exercices)

12.45am - nutritious vegetarian lunch

1.30pm - 2 afternoon meditation sessions including mindful self-care reflexology techniques, and a look into the astrological transits

4pm - goodie bags & goodbyes

What should I bring?

Just yourself! The mats, cushions, bolsters and blankets will be provided unless you prefer to bring your own. If you keep a journal please feel free to bring it along, we will also provide pens and paper.  A vegetarian lunch, healthy snacks and refreshments (herbal teas) are also included.

What should I wear?

As there will be some gentle movement we suggest coming in loungewear, but please wear whatever you feel most comfortable in.

Is there parking?

Yes, there is ample free parking at the venue.

About us

We are four meditation teachers thrilled to guide you through our unique meditation styles in a wonderful space of support and care.

Helen, a meditation teacher and registered nutritional therapist, co-founded Pocket Wilding, an environmental charity. Passionate about nature's healing influence, she blends mindfulness with nutrition, emphasising the profound impact of nature on mental health.

Cristina, a meditation teacher, reflexologist and gentle release therapist, with a twist of traditional Chinese medicine and essential oils! Deeply interested in the connections between our body, mind, emotions and spirit, she aims for you to experience a deep state of relaxation to reduce stress and tension, to restore your body’s natural balance, and to promote the free flow of energy for physical, mental and emotional well-being.

Indira, a meditation teacher, a qualified yoga instructor with a degree in nutritional science. She is passionate about high altitude hiking and is currently training for The 7 Summits Project (climbing the highest peak on each continent). Indira believes in a combined power of meditation, breathing techniques and movement.

Ash, a meditation teacher and a keen astrologist with a special interest in Tarot and Oracle cards. She is driven by her passion for writing and her love for the creativity involved in interpreting the cards and astrological charts for her clients. Ash loves to travel and takes inspiration from her experiences gained by living in different countries.
