HELLO

I'm Cristina Gomez Martinez, founder and owner of peppermint feet. I am passionate about how holistic therapies can rebalance people's life. I remember years ago when I worked in the busy corporate world, being stressed and unhappy, I went for a treatment and came out of the room transformed: I was floating in the air, all my worries, stress, tension in my neck had gone. I was being my true self again. It was such an amazing feeling and that's when I knew that I wanted to spend more time in that state of flow and to allow others to experience it, too. So now, I support individuals to relax,

Why peppermint feet?

My Journey

I started learning about natural therapies as they helped me reduce stress in my 20s, and I got totally hooked. It started with a short weekend of massage for self-care and I ended quitting my job to enrol at the renowned College of Naturopathic Medicine in London.

I obtained a Diploma in Naturopathy and Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture there four years later, giving me a deep understand of both Western and Eastern approaches to health.

But there was something special about reflexology that pushed me to explore and study it so I am also a fully qualified Reflexology Practitioner, training with the Temple Academy of Reflexology in Milton Keynes, the first school to be fully accredited by the professional Association of Reflexologists. I love the versatility of reflexology to adapt it the specific needs of each individual and how it can be combined with other modalities to deliver a gently treatment but powerful lasting effects. To that effect, I have undertaken further training in the nervous system, the menopause and how to integrate 40 essential oils safely to my treatments.

I am committed to continuing my learning and research, so I am always looking to integrate new techniques and therapies into my practice.
